The Liberal Lantern is not Green.

Green Lantern.  The idea that the FREE WILL of one man can overcome the collective fear of multiple universes is intriguing enough to spend ten bucks.

This is indeed one fighting force donning the color scheme green that is not tied to anything marketed to save the planet by pampering nature with liberal cloying love.

Good for a rainy day, and even a sunny day.  The Green Lantern is a must see.  WHY ?
Because it's a super hero movie for one, and it seems every super hero is anti liberal by being pro American spirit ... "truth, justice and the American way" , even though Superman was never allowed to say it on the screen for some politically correct reason.

Cheesy to love such fiction, I know ... but the Green Lantern, like all super heroes teaches something - and this film teaches, or at least emphasizes greatly, the power of free will.

Being that Free Will is not something the left likes to enforce, or acknowledge, this naturally jumps to the top of the summer watch list and all time favorites for examples to bash liberal thinking.

It is quite fun but a bit dark.  I can't imagine that a child 10 years of age or less would understand it nor would they sleep soundly that night.  Evil is indeed creepy, and boy oh boy can creepy come out in this movie.

But dammit, good can be f-ing GOOD too.
